COURSE SUMMARY
Welcome to Design Skills for Permaculture Living, in 3 or 5-day co-presenter intensives. In this summary we will outline online resources, classroom assignments and the material to be covered. This Design Skills workshop is offered in two different versions, one, Nov 15 - 17 and the other, Nov. 15 - 19, with class times and options that vary – between 9 am – 9:30 pm. Version Two is a FULL five days – 9 – 5, plus as many extra evenings as you can stand.
Challenge your perspective on gardening: it all boils down to soil! Ever-producing, self-managing and diversely abundant, return to the ecological Garden of Eden where snakes are good (and so is everything else). By learning to recognize and build on natural systems, you can live in your garden, not work in it. The empowerment you need to do it yourself! Learn low tech skills for designing and drafting the plan to meet your perfect food, garden and self-reliance needs.
The second version of this workshop provides the chance to emerge with a finished project, with two extra days of personal time and Mentor supervision for your education and home project designs... Translating those amazing ideas from your head into reality. If you are going to build it, first come and design it.
~ with Instructors: Christina Nikolic & Carol Wagner
