DIARY UPDATES
July 6th ...
just heading out today to research (bought camp food yesterday) and prep for our first site visit to a friend's homestead in Cedar where we are about to begin clearing & laying one of the foundations, for constructing a Farm Fairy Village demonstration project.... Hopefully it will soon contain - a number of small cabins, profiling seven different natural building mediums, a bike power generator, a pendulum water pump, solar dehydrator, compost oven (for manna bread, although we don't know if this will really work), rocket stove, renewable energy - micro-hydro / solar, and self-reliant food production and local recipe creation pilot work from a six acre parcel that we have the incredible priviledge of playing on and co-designing with the family and surrounding community, as well as a possible half acre dedicated to the village concept...
... what a year!... Interns and volunteers welcome.
