BC Sustainability Education Options Mapping Project
Send us your news, education announcements and program information. Starting this March (2007) the BC Sustainability Education Options Mapping Project will organize your information and the Earth Innovators Leadership Education Listserv will send it out to the interested student list of the BC Earth Masters Program.
The Earth Innovators List (EI) offers to Earth Masters students options for BC eco-education of all kinds, both formal and informal and some beyond BC - in other parts of Canada and the Western US. Student recommendations to other students will also be included no matter where the schools or workshops are located in the world.
Please send us your news items about: natural building, renewable energy, grassroots training, planning for climate change, micro and local economics, eco-enterprise, zero waste, barter and trade and all else in between.
The aim for this new trades school / workshop design program and its partner listserv is to prepare keen ground-level students of the earth arts to be able to take many of the next steps with their own project designs or sustainability interests. These students will springboard from EM introductory classes to other more advanced programs, following the end of their initial chosen course material.
