To Register in ADVANCE, please join one or more of the corresponding "Interest Lists":

Send an email to communityassets( AT )telus.net, providing your name, phone number and a list of the names of workshops you'd like to take this year. Please, also tell us when you might be able to attend. We will add your name to EACH of the Interest Lists for your chosen classes, and treat each one separately. You will be sent more information about each. Once scheduled, these workshops might vary from six days to only a few hours in length, but each of the shorter components comprising each workshop will be available to you, as well as the overall combination.

Once, the minimum number of potential students is reached, in any class, we will pick the dates where there is the greatest opportunity for people to come together in the overlapping time slots and send you the details to confirm you will still be able to attend for that particular round. If your availability varies throughout the year, please give us some indication of when you might be available, to help guide us in our scheduling.

We will, again, notify you when your second class is full, and so on throughout the year with your list of chosen topics. Some classes may fill up later than we want and we will contact you to see how you feel about going ahead at that time. Most of these classes will be offered at the Cedar and Gabriola locations. See PHOTOS, on the wiki home page. Some workshops may be scheduled in Cobble Hill or Shawnigan Lake and separate, later, 2007 schedule is being developed for the Kootenay area. (No Courtenay/Comox or Parksville/Qualicum classes are being booked so far for this year. Please let us know if you have any interest in seeing this developed now and state which area you are from.)
